Service to the Community
The Junior Woman's Club is dedicated to providing community service to the Mequon-Thiensville area. Join us and give back to your community.

Club members may donate their time by working on some of the club's service projects. Projects are chosen according to member interest and participation is not mandatory. Some of the projects include:

Senior Bingo Luncheon - Every spring we host a catered bingo luncheon for area senior citizens. Club members donate bingo prizes, and staff and serve at the luncheon. Get the 2010 invitation.
The Gathering - Members serve a meal at a meal site in downtown Milwaukee, as well as collect and deliver wish-list items.
Meals On Wheels - Members deliver meals to area homebound seniors on the first and third Monday of each month-year round.
Family Fun Before the Fourth - During the annual Mequon-Thiensville Fourth of July celebration, we staff a temporary tattoos booth at the Thiensville Park.
Continuing Education-Scholarship - Every year we offer a scholarship to an area woman who is returning to school. It has been a $500 - $1,000 scholarship.
College Scholarship - 2004 was the first year we offered a college scholarship to an area high school female. This will continue to be a $500 - $1,000 annual college scholarship.
Feed My Starving Children - Juniors and their families helped pack meals received by Swaziland.
Other Projects - Safety Town treats, Books for Babies and Rotary Riverwalk.
